I've noticed that the pilot and his family from Sonic's backstory all share similarities to Sonic, Amy and Tails.
The pilot has that constant “frowny” face Sonic has aswell as spiky hairs, his wife has similar bangs to Amy and for their daughter, just look at her twintails lol.
