[text] Nuclear Power, unless you have abundant fossil carbon combined with favourable conditions for wind and solar (all three) is actually an existential technology to own and have as a baseload for your society.

[image] Green growthers will look you straight in the face and tell you that this is a realistic future trajectory of CO2 emissions whilst growing a 110 trillion dollar economy.

[text] For Europe this energy crisis is a repeat of the 1970s only a worse shock with a fraction of the industrial capacity or competence of the 70s leaders. No one can build a nuclear reactor with any speed, we don’t have a second North Sea to develop, and we’re much worse in debt.
