[text] 𝗨𝗱𝗮𝗻𝘁 𝗠𝗮𝗿𝘁𝗮𝗻𝗱 (𝗧𝗵𝗲 𝗥𝗶𝘀𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗦𝘂𝗻) was the first Hindi language newspaper published in India. Started on 30 May 1826, from Calcutta,it was published weekly on 𝗧𝘂𝗲𝘀𝗱𝗮𝘆 𝗯𝘆 𝗣𝘁. 𝗝𝘂𝗴𝗮𝗹 𝗞𝗶𝘀𝗵𝗼𝗿𝗲 𝗦𝗵𝘂𝗸𝗹𝗮. #UPSC

[text] Rabindranath Tagore published his 1st collection of poems, 𝗕𝗵𝗮𝗻𝘂𝘀𝗶𝗺𝗵𝗮 𝗧𝗵𝗮𝗸𝘂𝗿𝗲𝗿 𝗣𝗮𝗱𝗮𝗯𝗮𝗹𝗶, at the age of 16 in 1877 under the pseudonym 𝗕𝗵ā𝗻𝘂𝘀𝗶𝗺𝗵𝗮(Sun Lion) it's written in 𝗕𝗿𝗮𝗷𝗮𝗯𝘂𝗹𝗶,a language influenced by medieval Bengali and Maithili.

[text] Before starting Dandi March Mahatma Gandhi sent Piyush Guha ahead of time to map the route, check the soil for salt content, and gauge the village's receptivity. • Kamaladevi Chattopadhyay and others persuaded Gandhiji to let women join the movement.
